9 Months

At 9 months old Kambria can now:
Pull herself up to anything and walks along things to get where she wants
Crawls
Can climb up the stairs, but not down
Wave hello or goodbye
Clap her hands
She has 6 teeth now, 2 bottom and 4 on top. (The top teeth haven't been very fun. They have been pretty painful for all of us)
She has had a few accidents lately, resulting in a few bloody mouths but she is a very tough girl and after a few kisses from us, she gets right back up.
She can eat most things now and for the most part enjoys any food, especially off our plates. She enoys finger foods and loves feeding herself.

We sure love our little angel, but wish sometimes time would slow down a little!

Christmas

I should probably post about our x-mas, even though it was almost a month ago already. Time sure does fly the older you get. Christmas just came and went so fast.
We had a busy, but fun day. Kambria did enjoy some of her presents, but didn't enjoy opening them as much as i would have hoped. Hopefully next year will be more fun.
She did get spoiled though. And so did Taylor and I.
We were very lucky to be able to spend time with all of our parents, and ate some very yummy food, and most importantly, enjoyed everyone's company.

Crawling

Kambria officially crawled for the first time yesterday (11/3/11)
My heart stopped to see her move. I am so proud of her, but also very nervous for this stage. She already has got into things i would prefer if she didn't. Bring on the baby proofing :)

Teeth

On October 6th..3 days before Kambria was 6 months old..we found out she was getting TEETH! How can my baby have teeth already? Her two bottom ones are both coming in at about the same rate. She has handled it really well. She was a little fussy and clingy, but nothing that we couldn't handle. And she has now stopped drooling, for now, which has been nice.

She is still getting really close to crawling, and has now figured out how to roll to get around. She does not stay in one place anymore and the thoughts of baby proofing my house have now become a reality.

One of my co-workers (well 2 of them) just had babies, and one of them brought in her little girl. She is SO tiny. She was only 6 pounds when she was born. I looked at her and Kambria next to each other and it hit me, i no longer have a new born. My baby is now a BIG baby and she will only get bigger with time.

Kambria can now get up on her hands and knees and has started to rock. I know she will be crawling within the next month. I better start baby proofing my house now.

She is now saying dada a lot now and Taylor admitted to me that she is so cute she can now have whatever she wants. She already has him wrapped around her finger so tight. I am so glad that Kambria has such a good dad in her life. Every child needs a good mom and a good dad and we are both realizing how important each of our roles in her life is.

4 Months

We had Kambria's 4 month check up..even though she was almost 5 months old. Her stats are:
Weight: 15 lbs 4 oz (63%)
Height: 25 1/2 Inches (72%)

At 5 months i am now taking her out of the 0-3 month clothes and we are moving up to 3-6. (which i don't understand because according to her stats she is bigger then most babies, but at least i've gotten a lot of good use out of those clothes)

The doctor said we can now start giving her foods. I had been giving her rice cereal..which she has been enjoying, but we are now starting on fruits and veggies. He said to introduce a new one every week, so we have just started with applesauce. She doesn't really love it or hate it, but she does get some really funny looks on her face when she eats it. There were a few times she would gag so we decided to heat it up and that has seemed to help.

She had a round of shots which i HATE! She cried for a minute and on our walk home she fell asleep so i thought she was doing better then the first time. Then we went out to dinner for Shelby's birthday but she did not like that at all. She cried pretty much the entire time so once we got our food we boxed it up and had to leave. I felt bad for leaving, but also felt bad that my daughter was so angry with us. She slept pretty good that night, and never did get a fever but was definitely much fussier then normal.

We are enjoying her growing up but also sad at the same time. She is definitely a very active baby and i know we will have our hands full once she can move more.
